This style is made with OCS-certified cotton and GRS-certified recycled polyester, with an miDori® bioWick finish.  miDori® bioWick is made from microalgae sourced from chestnut trees in Germany and produced in an efficient closed-loop system, where sugarcane waste from a neighboring farm generates 100% of the facility’s electricity and steam. With a ZDHC Level 3 certification for safe chemistry practices, miDori® bioWick provides performance durability and quick-drying properties, while delivering up to 80% CO2e reductions—compared to conventional fast-wicking finishes made from fossil fuels. With the goal of increasing the use of recycled materials and reducing the harmful impacts of production, the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled input in products—including chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions.
